Founded in 2005 by artistic director Martine Wérotte, Troupe Sharkiss is an oriental dance (Bellydance) company whose dancers showcase the beautiful art of modern Egyptian dance.

The troupe is composed of passionate dancers, who have trained intensively at Studio Sharqui, and who are experienced in several additional dance disciplines. Troupe Sharkiss has performed at

• Corporate events (Bell Helicopter, SamX, Ecolab, etc…)
• Festivals (Festival des Percussions de Longueuil, Les Week-ends du Monde, The International Bellydance Conference of Canada, Folklore Canada International, Festival Juste Pour Rire etc…)
• And a range of private parties, anniversaries and weddings
